He's come a long way since Punk'd.

(No, I'm not talking about Ashton Kutcher. He's kind of annoying.)

I'm talking about Dax Shepard. I remember seeing him years ago on Punk'd. Remember that MTV show? I specifically love the episode where they punk'd Justin Timberlake and remember? J.T. was inches away from crying and actually called his mom whining. Awesome.

I digress.

So, right - I'm a viewer and fan of Parenthood. It's one of the best scripted shows on t.v. right now. Hands down. Are you watching it? If not, watch it.

While Crosby Braverman (Dax Shepard) is not overwhelmingly lovable right now, he's good.

I think he's a far better actor than I had ever expected.

And the girl who plays Amber on the show? Her real name is Mae Whitman (um, fantastic). She's great.

Did you see the previews for next week's episode? Whoa.

  1. I keep wanting to rent season 1 and start from the beginning. It looks like a great show. I still remember this girl as nerdy Bernice from Hope Floats. Weird, I know.

  2. I had NO idea that was little Bernice from Hope Floats! Awesome. She is fantastic on this show.

I looooove this show. I didn't get to watch last nights episode yet as I was already in bed (being sick sucks) but I will watch it tonight. (Except I want to go see the preview NOW!)

I really enjoy all the issues they hit on in the show and feel it is very close to real life and what families go through. I love the way it is written, so real and powerful but also full of love. Great show.

When I heard the first time there was this new show with Dax I was surprised and didn't know what to expect but I agree, he is really good!

  3. I watch that show too! I am behind at least 3 episodes but I can watch them on OnDemand. I LOVE his character on Parenthood.

  4. Parenthood the movie is one of my favorites and this is loosely based on it. I love this show. Max is obviously my favorite.

  5. He's really funny in Baby Mama.
