Hmmm... Anger management?

The lead in this news story made me smile:

"A man is facing an assault charge for allegedly hitting a town hall custodian on the back of the head with a roll of toilet paper because he was angry the cleaning man was whistling while he worked."

Apparently the angry-man was in the restroom when the custodian start whistling.

I understand this bothered the man because he didn't want to be "whistled at" at that particular time.

Article here.

I think it should be noted and applauded that the angst-ridden man threw something soft at the other gentlemen. I mean, it's 2010 - he could have shot him.

But then again, really? Who throws something at someone for WHISTLING? I mean, according to Snow White we're ALL supposed to be whistling while we work.

  1. I think I understand this guy. While I wouldn't do it for whistling, I would certainly throw something at someone for loud eating.

  2. I'm generally pro-throwing (soft, non-hurty things only, of course) at annoying people. But I'm with you on this one. Whistling? Really?

My grandpa always says he loves to hear someone whistling, because you can't whistle unless you're happy. While this probably isn't physiologically true, it just makes good sense. Don't hate on the happy folks, Angry Bathroom Dude. Seriously.
