Target's [odd] dress roundup

$31.49. How cute. Comes in black, too. See here.
Very June Cleaver. Would I wear it? No. Would I wear it if I were dressing up for Halloween as June Cleaver?

Wow. Who knew this was at Target for only $14.99? See here. What a
I'm a wee bit curious as to how this earned 2.5 out of 5 stars.
Is it me, or is that generous?
One reviewer bought it for her Halloween costume. She was Hannah Montana. That makes sense.

I think Whitney Houston wore this dress in her, "I wanna dance with somebody" video.
It's cashmere. From Target. $69.99. See here.

"Oh, how do you solve a problem like Maria?"
This is so Maria Von Trapp a la Sound of Music.
Best part, though?
It can be yours for only $27.99 and it comes in pink (?) and teal (??).
See here. While I am pleased it only got a 1.5 star rating, I'm more pleased by the "related item" found on the page. See below.

Awesome. I'm willing to wager that while running through the Swiss Alps exclaiming, "The hills are alive...with the sound of music..." Maria was wearing Isaac Mizrahi's for Target Angel Pumps in Leopard.
Love it.

And finally, this one's perfect for Easter...or the lead in the local ballet's annual production of the Nutcracker. Yep, this one-star item is only $9.99. Who'd of thought? See here.--
Sometimes Target floors me.

  1. wow, those are um....interesting.

the top dress is very "Mad Men" inspired. but i still wouldn't/couldn't wear it.

  2. I just don't know what to say. I think the production team at Target had a reeeeeally bad day at some point.

  3. I liken these to "straight to video" movies. They are developed to go right to the clearance racks. Without collecting $200.

(I do kind of like the first dress however.)

  4. These are interesting. I agree with TLC about #1. I go in spruts with Target. Sometimes I buy the whole store and then there are months where I can literally find nothing I like sans a black or white shirt.

  5. Those are bad--a 1980's decade of horrible fashion kind of bad. If Target's going downhill with the economy, then we're all in trouble.

  6. I'd wear the first one because I want to look like Jennifer Love Hewitt. I'd wear the second one to audition for Dreamgirls 2. The 3rd and 4th ones make my neck feel too restricted just looking at them. And as far as the last one goes, who DEOSN'T want to dress like a ballerina... everyday.

  7. If a dress makes a model who is very tall, thin and not curvy look nasty (a.k.a dress #2) WHY, WHY... and let me ask again... WHY would I want it??

    No thanks!

Those leopard pumps are sweet, though.

  8. I cannot top any comments that the original post makes or that the 7 bloggers above made.

Such comments are why I love all of you. :)
