I am listening to Christmas music right now. (Huge smile.) I've worked my way through Martina McBride, The Judds, and Bette Midler...

Now listening to, "Christmas #1's"

Thinking I need to add to my collection. Can anyone reccomend any good Christmas music? More traditional songs, less silly ones?

P.S. Christmas is ONE MONTH AWAY!

  1. Nat King Cole is one of my faves! Jewel, Sarah McLachlan, Josh Groban are other excellent choices as well! LOVE Xmas music!!!!

  2. Harry Connick Jr. I love his older Christmas album. And the word on the street is that he just came out with a new Christmas cd about a month ago.

I also very much enjoy the music from the Nutcracker.

  3. I ditto the harry Connick Jr.

I also love Neil Diamond's Christmas album.

    New Kid's on the Block...DUH!

I like SheDaisy's - all except for one of the songs, can't remember the name though.

Hmmm...that's all I can think of that I have.

  4. Maybe a little different from what you are looking for, but Third Day Christmas Offerings puts a Christian rock twist on some of my favorite holiday songs.

  5. Ok, don't judge me but...Mariah Carey singing "O' Holy Night" brings tears to my eyes. She sings the classics on her Christmas CD, as well as some upbeat, cheesy songs. I cannot tell a lie--I've listened to that CD for literally fourteen Christmases now.

  6. I am really loving Josh Groban right now. He has a Christmas CD he put out in 2007....I love him. His voice gives me the chills and when he sings Ava Maria...I tear up. I also LOVE Michael Buble's christmas CD. And to me NO ONE does Christmas songs like Bing Crosby. I hear him I think Christmas!

And you are not alone, I have been listening to Christmas music for two weeks straight. At work and at home. We have our radio tuned in to the river...24 hours of the music!!

  7. I think I need to look into the Harry Connick! All of these are good suggestions.

Brad - we're super-big Third Day fans. Have been for years. Will have to look at their Christmas album.

t.w.i.t. - I already own (and have owned for years...) Mariah Carey's Christmas album. I could not AGREE WITH YOU more about her rendition of, "O Holy Night." (Brad, I believe you like that, too?)

I may be looking up Josh Groban, too. GOOD suggestions. Keep 'em coming!

  8. My favorite Christmas album is still Barenaked Ladies, sorry not real traditional.

  9. ok this is silly but you have to watch it! it's hilarious

our mom has a dolly parton christmas cd and it rocks. seriously.

    enjoy! sal
