We told them we ate their candy.

You've heard about this, right? Jimmy Kimmel issued a request a year or so ago that parents tell kiddos that they ate all of their Halloween candy... and video their responses.

Of course we had to try it.

I enjoy Vivi in this video, especially.
I also enjoy that Lila was kind.

Here's Jimmy's...

  1. Vivi's reaction is exactly what Stella would do. I would never hear the end of it. Girl takes her sweets very seriously.

I enjoyed this. Maybe more than I should have.

    1. I think I've watched it at least a dozen times. I love how the emotion is bubbling at the surface with Vivi and then BAM! She explodes. :)

      Awesome.

She will one day grow up and do this to her children, too. No doubt.

  3. HAHAHAHA!!!

    I am dying!!! Hilarious!

I agree with MD, probably enjoyed it more than I should :-)

Poor Vivi...so sad. I like how it took awhile and then the tears. Note to self....you CAN eat Lila's candy but you can NOT eat Vivi's!!

And mad props to you, I would have busted out laughing as soon as I said the candy was gone.

P.S. Why didn't you eat this one: "Because it is gross". AWESOME.

  4. Vivi = Brayden in this video and almost always. I loved it, I laughed out loud, I smiled, I vow to do this to my kids next year. (They played a few clips from Jimmy Kimmel at church a few weeks ago - they were talking about grief and loss, ironically - and it was absolutely hilarious!)

I hope you're doing well. I think about you a lot. Hugs to you and your adorable little family!
