Books. Oh, books.

The importer brought a bunch of fun stuff yesterday. The most exciting item(s)?

A lot of used books I bought off of eBay for $11.89. (Thank you for the idea, brother.)

Originals.

Copywritten - circa 1968. Fabulous.

Delilah was in heaven. (My eldest child recently changed her name from Lila to Delilah based on the book, "The Very Fairy Princess." The Main character's best friend is Delilah, hence the inspiration behind the name change). So Delilah immediately grabbed the dozen books and scurried away with them.

Later in the night, she was still "reading" and was curled in bed with them. Then, when it was time to go to sleep she asked if I could keep the books in her bed so that she can read them in the morning.

Sigh.

Tell me that she's going to love books.  Oh dear, this pleases me.

SHE is so loving books these days. THIS.PLEASES.ME.

Some of my favorite memories as a child revolve around my books.

[Off I go to buy more lots of used loved books on eBay.]
