That was fast.

Kim Kardashian's already filed for divorce?

I was flipping through the channels yesterday and almost stopped on her 15-hour E! wedding special.

Glad I didn't waste my time on that one.

And in other news...

Lila Lunes: 2 and a quarter years.

Oh, Lila.

You're too much.

My Lila Ross, how could I possibly sum you up right now?

Um. FUN.

You have a wacky sense of style and currently love jumping. Off of everything.

You love school. And you certainly love cake.

... and ice cream, too. :)

You love laughing. You're talking up a storm, too. You're learning about feelings in school and on Sunday morning when we were running in the double stroller down the crazy, winding sidewalk you yelled, "Wee! Lila happy! Lila happy! Mommy, I happy!"

It made my day.

You kind of make my day all the time.

You're funny and inquisitive. You love your sister so much that it's true -- you squeeze her a bit too hard sometimes.

But you love her, and talk to her, read to her, play with her... and my favorite? Make her laugh. Your giggles combined with her giggles are nearly more than I can bear.

And you really hate going to bed. Really hate it. As in,  you get out of your bed a few times per night just to reiterate to us that you are indeed not ready to sleep. It's kind of annoying. We're ready for you to grow out of this.

You love princesses.
You love pink.
You love tutus.
You especially love princess bandaids. They're currency in our house.

It may appear that you injure yourself a lot -- what with all the bandaids you wear, but the truth is, they just mean that you did something great. "Lila, if you do ______, then you can have a princess bandaid!"

These days you love to pretend like you're sleeping. It's too much.

"Mama? I, me, Lila, go night-night, ok? Shhhh..."

Clearly you're half-sleeping here.

And you love stacking things. More specifically you love making "towers."

Yay!

You continue to be a fantastic eater... after, of course, you staunchly maintain that, "NO, you do NOT WANT PEACHES."

"I DO NOT WANT THOSE PEACHES."

Then two minutes later, after I've given you the peaches, you're loving them.

You usually declare that you do not want to eat something before you actually eat it.

That's fun, too.

That smile... oh, that smile.

Preciousness.

Glue sticks are super fun for the little lady in our house...

Dear Sweet Lila, even if you are no longer my baby... the truth is, you always will be.

...the other truth is that I kind of like it that you're growing up.

Why?

Because you're definitely getting funnier.

 Have a great week, ya'll.

Happy birthday, friend!

Happy, happy birthday to my dear friend in Oklahoma.

I can't believe we've been friends for this long but I am so thankful we are.

I especially love how when we see one another, it's like no time has passed.

I value you, your friendship and quite honestly, how kind and sweet you are.

You're one of the best. For sure.

I am so glad you were born, Linds. Happy, happy birthday.

Love,
Ky

Happy birthday, my sister.

Oh dear sister, I love you so much. You know this.

You also know that your birth was a turning point in my life when I was a very, very wise and boy-looking eight-year-old.

"A turning point?", you ask?

Absolutely.

Because the birth of my baby sister meant that I had you. A sweet little blondie who grew up to be you.

I love you so much. I love hearing your perspective and I think you are who-larious. You are beautiful and intelligent. And kind. And empathetic. And thoughtful. And just altogether incredible.

But most of all? I am ASTOUNDED by the mommy that you are. Taryn, you are incredible. You inspire me.

I love you so very much -- to the moon and back, in fact.
And I am so, so very glad that you were born.

Happy birthday, baby sister.

Love,
me

P.S. I made you that cake. It's just that since I can't mail it you can't actually see it in real life.
Just trust me.

So... the little lady started cruising Thursday night.

And she was laughing in Toledo.

And, she loves the swing. A lot.

Project Runway Declaration

I WILL be posting about Project Runway at some point today.

I may have shirked my normal blogging duties all season long (I HAVE TWO BABIES AND A FULL TIME JOB) -- but I'll at least write about the finale.

Anyone else watch it?

Halloween Friday

Today Lila got to wear her Halloween costume to school. Thank you, cousin Bella -- for the the loaner dress. And thank you cousin Chlo for the makeup. And thank you Aunt T. for the butterfly hair-clippies!

Lila, is a princess. :) Or a fairy. Or something. Bottom line? She's happy.

I did her eyemakeup (which she loved.) She did her cheeks. (Which she also loved.)

Sister love.

Vivienne's costume to come...

And just a few more from when I picked her up at school.
