Of course Oprah's back on television. It's her "new chapter", ya'll.

"In this new, weekly, primetime series, Oprah steps outside of the studio for some riveting, enlightening in-depth conversations with newsmakers, celebrities, thought leaders and real-life families."

You see, Oprah must travel the world in order to converse with others about herself. It's part of her plan of world domination.

She's the energizer bunny. Or something.

  1. My husband made the same comment. She just couldn't keep herself off TV b/c she's an egomaniac!

  2. Wait, I thought you liked Oprah. No? I have to admit, before we got rid of cable, I enjoyed her recent experiment (OWN). I'd probably watch this, too.

  3. @Sarah W - I am so conflicted. I love her. But I loved that she "retired", too. I'm nervous that this new show is going to be overwhelmingly braggadocios. (I wanted to use that word. Not sure if I did so correctly.)

But yes, I do love her -- just within the confines of her show. Outside of her show, I feel that she just might love Oprah a bit more than necessary.

P.S. I like OWN, too. I really like Lisa Ling's show.

  4. I was honestly ready for some space with Oprah. I thought it was too good to be true for her to actually be gone!

  5. I think I'm falling out of love with all things "O". I don't care for the magazine much anymore, even though I do love that they put the table of contents IN THE FRONT, not after massive ad pages. I felt like the Life Lessons series was just a ginormous recap of the Oprah show, and you know that's coming out in box set or something someday. I think I just like arsenalfamily, I'm ready for some space. But she is awesome.
