Spell it however you'd like.

I've received two emails within a 20 minute period that have both spelled my name incorrectly.

Both emails are work-related and both were sent from people whom I have emailed with at least 15 times in the past.

Hmm...

Odd.

  1. People call me Sharon. Constantly. People I've worked with for years. Two Ns, people! No R, two Ns!

On my good days, I find it charming. :) On my bad days, I think: When you typed in my e-mail address, did it begin with "Sharon"?! How is your attention span shorter than the time it takes to click in the body of an e-mail?

    :)

  2. I get the same exact thing pretty consistently. Kristine, Kristina, Kristian. No, my name is Kristen. Plus, with all those names, the 'K' can be switched out for a 'Ch,' which adds another layer of wrong.

  3. Annoying. . . I get the same thing daily! And lucky me, when its from someone I don't know, I get "Dear Mr. Adrien H." . . . ugh!

  5. Everyone always spells my name wrong...I've learned to not let it bother me. EXCEPT when I send THEM an email and they reply (my full name is my work email) spelling my name wrong. It's right in front of your face?!?! I don't get it.

  7. Come on people! Pay attention.

Jennifer. Easy & common name, no? So why has my name been spelled Jan, Janifer, and my personal favorite Jennipher.

Een your comment cracked me up!
