Welcoming in 2011.

I love office supplies. Hence, it should come as no surprise that I love calendars.

Every year, since I've been old enough to understand how a calendar works, I've been excited about a.) starting a new one in January and b.) about flipping the page to a new month.

Fresh beginnings. New crisp paper. Right.up.my.alley.

This year, there are a few calendars that I don't want.

Here they are.

I see enough of the beach. You, on the other hand, can buy it here.

Views from the Hubble Space thing. Outer space. I'm sorry, but that's boring to me. You, on the other hand, can buy it here.

Oh, this is so gross. I just have never been able to stomach the, "Painter of Light." You, on the other hand, can buy it here.

Well, this one's obvious. Self-explanatory. Would I gift it to someone? A.b.s.o.l.u.t.e.l.y. Would I buy it for me? Absolutely not. You, on the other hand, can buy it here.

Seriously, though? Happy New Year's Eve. I wish you all health, happiness and a ridiculous amount of laughter in 2011.

  1. I LOVE calendars too! I'm making one this year.

Speaking of which, do you have the picture of Athena, Micah, and the Cupcake all sitting together at Frank and Julie's? I wanna use it for one of the months.

  2. Laughing out loud at "this is so gross to me."

Oh Ky, you are so dear to me.

Happy 2011 to you and your family.

  3. (I loved this post. It was very *you.* :))

And I love calendars! Last year I waited too long, and then I couldn't find any I liked. So I just didn't get one. And my cube wall looked NAKED. I hated it. I'm totally getting one this year.

  4. I love calendars as well. I was so excited to find my 2011 calendar ... it's plain but it's BIG so I can write things into the day boxes. I'm so anal about my calendar though - since it sits out (it's hanging on our kitchen wall) I don't want it to look all junky or cluttered. I actually said to my husband last night that instead of writing things onto the calendar himself, he could write the items on a post-it and then I could write it onto the calendar so that the handwriting is all the same. Um yeah, obsess much?
