MexMo: More grocery shopping in Cabo

I had to run to the grocery store last night (we only had apple juice, tofu, kiwi and condiments in our fridge.) and of course I was urgently compelled to take pictures as I strolled with my shopping cart that wouldn't turn left.

Care to join me?

Right. Why wouldn't you throw some cheapo razors in the hair accessories section?
You can either put your hair back with a barrette... or shave it off.

Each Christmas season the grocery store MacGuyvers plywood shelving (!!!) and stacks random toys/products on them forcing customers to walk underneath them.
It's sort of terrifying.

I couldn't quite capture the bending of the plywood.
Oy.
(Sometimes they stack POTTERY and DISHES on these plywood shelves.)

Please note the plastic plate section.
Please note the plates in the upper-left-hand corner.

 A close up for you.
(I hope that my little sister T. isn't reading the blog today.
I think we both know what she's getting for Christmas.)

I'm not sure if that's enough apples out for sale
--
They were LEANING there were so many of them.

Who says you can't find a pumpkin in Cabo!?
Here's a random box in the middle of the produce section.
Hello Fall.
Sort of.
I mean, it's still 84 degrees at 8:45 p.m., but whatever...
Carve your pumpkin, just bring it inside to the A/C or chances are it is going to melt.

This is the new cheese/hot dog display.
In the kleenex aisle.
I'm always like, "Oh my gosh, I need a tissue. And a hot dog. And some cheese."

All I wanted was some good-ole fashioned canned green beans. (Don't judge me.)
There weren't ANY.

However, please note that there are FIVE SHELVES of mixed vegetables.
(Sorry for the blurry blackberry shot.)
Gross.

Finally, look!
It's a RAMEN NOODLE WALL.
If you ask me, that is a phenomenal usage of space.
And there you have it.
Shopping in Los Cabos.

Always an adventure, or at least, a photo opportunity.

  2. Is it me, or is EVERYTHING in that store leaning or bowing?
