We don't count.

So I've been hearing all of this hullabaloo about the 2010 U.S. Census and I wanted to confirm that we need not participate in it. (Yes, I realize it was due April 1st.)

I called the U.S. Census Bureau, (of course I did) and it appears that we don't count. We're expats.

Sad.

I also found out that the U.S. Census Bureau has a twitter, facebook, youtube AND flickr presence. (See here. If you want. But really?)

I think that's even more sad. And senseless. Heh, heh, heh.

(I apologize for the blurry logo. I couldn't find a better one and I had to ask myself, "Really? Is it worth the time to search for it?)

  3. Apparently we don't count either, we never got one. It has caused me to reflect and wonder about my place in this world. What are you trying to tell me, Census?
