Bring on the decking of the halls.
I washed my brand new Christmas salt & pepper shakers today and I am ready.to.go.
Yes, I'm ready to festoon my home with various holiday embellishments as I usher in my favorite season of the year.
Indeed, I'm well aware that Thanksgiving is right around the corner and that Christmas occurs after Thanksgiving.
I just happen to think that Thanksgiving is best when celebrated in a home filled with ornaments, red and green decorations and twinkling lights.
I LOVE CHRISTMAS for so many reasons.
Even though I'm on a strict spending freeze, I totally have my eye on a white plastic Christmas tree at Mega. (The grocery store.)
It's just tacky enough... I believe it's screaming my name. Stay tuned.

Tis the season...I totally agree!!! My Christmas has always started before I do my turkey!!!!
Our holiday season always starts right after Halloween...however, I told Dave, we can not have a tree up for Abbey's party. We need to wait at least a few more weeks...lol.
I'm so with you! My 9 yr old son has already requested to play christmas music AND to put up the lights outside this morning!! :) It's so much fun to have given my children the same spirit of the season!
(We are currently listening to Michael Buble-highly recommend! and Nat King Cole's christmas cd's by the way...) Makes me sooo happy!
Love Love Love this season as well! I cannot wait to put up all 5 of my trees this year!! Yes I put x-mas trees in many rooms so that I can see one no matter where I am!! Love to feel cozy and festive ! Love to spend time with family and friends!
I love it! Mega is awesome.
Since having kids I've gotten way more into Christmas! I've began thinking about how I'm going to decorate this year and you know what, I might just decorate BEFORE Thanksgiving! And I'm (of course!) already planning some handmade gifts!
That is a super cute salt and pepper set!
