Lila Lunes
Our cupcake is getting so big.

Holy moly, Lila Ross is in her 12th week of life. Yes. Oh my. She actually turns 3 months old on Monday the 21st. And I tell you what - I cannot imagine life without her. Nope. We're besties. The four of us were meant to be. (Ferg included.)

It's amazing how nervous we both were (Craig and I) when we first had her and how much more comfortable we are now. Ah, time...

Q. How is Lila?
A. She's great! In fact, I thinks she's smiling right now. Oh wait, now she's not. She's watching the MTV VMA's and she just said that she hates Kanye West. She feels he's a jerk. Right on, sista.

Q. How big is she?
A. I'm willing to wager she's about 12 lbs. We're on the verge of changing from size 1 to size 2 diapers. (Yep. That's a big deal in this house.) I feel that she's definitely crossed the line from being a "newborn" to a baby. Soon she'll be a toddler. Then a teenager. Then married.

*Sigh.

Q. Developmentally what is little Lila doing?
A. My cupcake is holding her head up better and better. And, although she hates tummy time - she's holding her head up well. See? (She's so cute. I can't stand it. Yep, I'm that parent.)

Q. Was Lila happy to be home and in her own crib?
A. Yes. In fact, she couldn't wait to get in her tub.

See the video below.

I just can't get over bath-time pictures. Lila. Her tub. The toaster oven. Awesome.

Well because life in the tub is life at its' best.

Oh!

Mommy and her cupcake. And my big hair.

Q. Am I back to work yet?
A. Well, yes and no. Technically I've been working for a while now, but I'm actually blessed in that I can work from home. My maternity leave is officially over after this week. I'm ok with it. It's time.

I'm a workin' mommy.

In all honesty, it's really helped that I've been working from home for about six weeks or so. It'll help me ease back in to full-time work.

Q. What are we doing with Lila?
A. Well, at this point - we're planning our lives so that one of us can be home with Lila while the other one is away. Again, we are blessed that we can do this. We know. We also have a spanish-speaking housekeeper monday, wednesday and friday who is GREAT with Lila.

...if only I'd let her help me out and hold her more...

(I can't help it. Lila's so little and I just love being with her.)

Enough about me.

Ok, I have some product reviews to quickly interject:

Mustela baby products. I *love* them. I love the lotion, baby wash, barrier (diaper rash) cream, disposable face cloths... I love mustela products. And, C. just happens to love the way these products smell. I agree. They're heavenly. Check out the products here.

Next, and this may be too much information... But everyone and their sister recommended that I buy Lansinoh 100% lanolin since I was breastfeeding. It's supposed to be fantastic for sore/cracked nipples and isn't bad for little ones to ingest when breastfeeding. (Sorry folks! That's the name of the game when nursing, I hear.) Anywho - here's the dual use for Lansinoh:

It's a FANTASTIC chapstick/lip gloss.(I hate to waste anything.) Seriously. $9.99 at Babies R Us.

Ok, on to more pictures. Here's the precious doll sleeping.

And here she is giving us, "The Lip."

This one cracked me up. Lila was SCREAMING and Ferg did NOT know how to help her, so she did what Ferg does. She climbed onto the couch and snuggled by her. (Everyone who loves Ferg, say "I"!)

Anticipation.

Yes, the OSU game wasn't everything we'd hoped it would be. Still C. and Lila were dressed appropriately.

As were my Cupcake and I.

How cute? Daddy and Daughter. (He actually was holding her for most of the game explaining to her how it all worked. I tell you kids - I got a good one.)

And how GREAT is this?! Craig surprised me and got Lila a custom onesie from GirlieBirdBoutique.etsy.com! Check it out, friends.

How great is this?

She's sooo tall.

Look how cute the back is!

See!? She was so happy to wear it!

My little Cupcake.

A behind picture. Again.

Mommy and baby. And comb-over.

I tell you, if I had a bib that said, "I love Lila" - I'd wear it.

Have a great week.
