So, we had this really ugly vine in our courtyard.
It wouldn't grow.
C. decided to move it to the backyard so it could get more sun.
It started growing.


And growing...And it budded...
And LOOK at this flower!
It's AMAZING.

I have no idea what it is.

It's so intricately perfect. The outside petals alternate from purple and green, then the interior is that spiky lavender. It's amazing.

It's say it's about 4.4 inches in diameter

  8. SO yes this is a passion flower apparently part of a passion fruit plant -- and I LOVE passion fruit. It would be so awesome if you could actually eat the fruit of this plant once the flower is gone. And yest -- the flower is amazing too.
