Gone, baby gone.

There are some words out there that seem to have just died. And I'm ok with that.

I believe they are:

1.) blouse
2.) slacks
3.) supper
4.) refrigerator
5.) dinette set
6.) bureau

Thoughts? Any words you're happy to see gone? Any that you miss?

  1. I like to throw davenport out there every once in a while. I feel like it classes me up.

My entire family has ALWAYS used the word "queer" as it was orginally intended. It upsets me that most people only use it in a derogatory fashion, thus making us look like a family of homophobes.

I guess it's not really an answer to the original question, but that's just how I feel today. That is all.

  3. Chad still says supper. I say dinner and refuse to change my vocabulary. I fear we are creating issues for our children. :)
