Moral Authority.

Has anyone seen the latest Levi 501's, "Live Unbuttoned" commercials with the kids who are pretty much 16-years-old and "talking about their first time"? They undress then jump off of a pier?

Enjoy here:

Um, one word: inappropriate.

I'd rather see a feminine product commercial instead of two kids playing grown-ups.
Bad taste, Levi's.

I'm going to stick to my Wranglers. :-)

  1. i agree, i did NOT like this ad! like kids these days aren't slutty enough as it is. plus it just didn't make a lot of sense.

  2. This is the first time I have seen this commercial, and it does not make me want to go out and buy Levi's. It makes me want to erase my viewing history, delete cookies, and clear my cache because those kids are, like, twelve.

    Gross.

(And the pier they jumped off of wasn't even that high, so I'm not impressed with that, either.)

  3. As said above, bad taste, poorly done. Really, these kids look like they might be 16, might be. Adults would be better.

Remember that Abercrombie & Fitch "short movie" that played in their stores about 8 years ago? It was basically a girl servicing some teenage boy while he was driving. It was insane.

  4. i thought about this again because last night i just saw a new one, except this time the kids are getting it on in someone's apartment they don't know.... GROSS!

  5. This is reality though. Kids younger and younger are more promiscuous. What we DON'T need is the media glamourizing it.
Plus the commercial is really stupid!

  6. These commercials are just one of the many media-driven mechanisms that drive our kids to be more sexual.

    I'm over it.

    I hate Bratz dolls, too.
