Cost saving tip - contacts

I used to use these Opti-free contact lens cases because they came "free" with my contact solution. I found that when I used these, I went through my solution far too quickly. Why? The case is deeper than what my contacts warrant.

SO, I switched to this .59 cent, flip-top version of the contact lens case and I'm pleased to announce I use SIGNIFICANTLY less contact solution now.

  1. fantastic observation! I use the green and white case above and you are right...we go through solution very fast. I will have to give this a try!

  2. i never could use those anyway because i always lose the caps. the cheapie ones have the caps attached which is good for the accident-prone (me).

  3. Amen sister. I stopped using those stupid white and green ones after a few days. The caps were too easy to drop and lose, and they are indeed far too deep. The cheapies were the way to go.... until I switched to daily contacts. Now I need no solution and I throw my contacts away every night.

  4. Glad we're on the same page, MD.

It's amazing how the man tries to overtake us.

And you're right grumbles - I ALWAYS lose the caps, too.
