  1. 1. O Holy Night

    2. I love evening, carol-filled Christmas Eve church services.

    3. No. There will be snow here.

    4. I DID believe in Santa, for not very long. It was Frosty the Snowman's existence that rocked my world in the 3rd grade when our class was in line for art. Someone looked at me and said, "Are you kidding??? FROSTY THE SNOWMAN ISN'T REAL!" Gasp.

    5. I disagree with Christmas sweaters but wholeheartedly support Christmas socks. Year round.

    6. I quite like spritz cookies. Soft ones.

    7. It's a Wonderful Life. "Every time a bell rings an angels gets it's wings."

    8. No thank you.

  3. 1. What is your famous Christmas carol?
    White Christmas

    2. What is your favorite Christmas tradition?
Opening presents at my folks house in jammies - still do it, still love it.

    3. Do you live where there will be snow on Christmas Day?
    Nope

    4. Did you believe in Santa? Until when?
Yes, until I was 8, but then I was told if you always believe he will always come... I still believe, he still visits.

    5. How do you feel about Christmas apparel, as a rule?
I love dressing festively - more reds, deep greens, silvers and golds weaved into the waredrobe, but I tend to steer clear of things that specifically represent Christmas - no Santa sweaters.

    6. Your favorite Christmas cookie?
Thumb prints - peanut butter cookies with hershey kisses plopped on top.

    7. What is your favorite Christmas-related movie?
A Christmas Story or Home Alone

    8. Anything else Christmas-related you'd like to share?
It is by far, my absolute, favorite time of the year. I love the act of gift giving.

  4. 1. Anything on the Elvis Christmas Album.

    2. Don't have any traditions

    3. No snow here... maybe some rain

    4. My much older brother ruined it for me when I was in first grade.

    5. It's never ok to wear Christmas clothing or carry a Christmas bag. Especially those vests that older office ladies love to wear.

    6. Sugar cookie with sprinkles

    7. ELF!!!!

    8. I wish we could have Christmas without the gifts. Just eating, drinking and being with loved ones... like Thanksgiving 2!

  5. 1. O Tannenbaum
    2. Christmas eve with just my sisters and parents. We eat pizza and open our presents to each other.
    3. Hopefully!
    4. Of course, I realized the impossibility in 3rd grade and my mom cried. I still believe in the spirit of Santa though.
    5. Funny. I don't sport it myself, but do get a kick out of seeing grandmas in Santa garb.
    6. There are so many! Hungarian pastries, meringues, rum balls, birds nests, I really just love the variety!!
    7. Mickey's Christmas Carol. It's awesome.
    8. I love the Lights at the Zoo (in Toledo) - it's so amazing. Waking up on Christmas morning at home with my family makes me feel like a kid and I love that. I also love to shop and wrap presents. Merry Christmas!

  7. 1. I like O Holy Night.
    2. Christmas Eve with my great aunts and uncles. We always have snack foods and the day just doesn't feel rushed like Christmas Day. It's nice and relaxing.
    3. I sure do.
    4. Oh yeah, I was probably 8 or 9 when I stopped. When you're an only child it takes longer to learn these things :)
    5. As a rule, Christmas wear is not necessary. I have a tree and lights at home, I don't need them on a sweatshirt.
    6. The peanut butter ones with the Hershey's kiss on top.
    7. My favorite movie is "Christmas Vacation" although "Elf" is becoming a close second.
    8. Merry Christmas to all!

    6. Your favorite Christmas cookie? The 5 sugar cookies that I just baked and ate.
    7. What is your favorite Christmas-related movie? I LOVE "Love, Actually"
    8. Anything else Christmas-related you'd like to share?
When it's econimically tough for you, it's worse for someone else. Give to your local charity anything that you can.

  12. 1. O Holy Night... agreed

    2. Christmas eve service @ church

    3. I'd put about $1000 down that we'll have snow.

    4. Yes, until early grade school?

    5. The only things that are ok for me are socks. But for anyone else, hey, knock yourself out on the cheesy factor.

    6. My sugar cookies with almond flavored icing

    7. Now- Elf; Growing up- The Christmas Story

    8. I love it even more having kids to watch open presents. Their excitement is awesome.

  13. 1. I'm going to have to agree with 'O Holy Night'.

    2. Can I have 3? Opening one present (from a family member) on Christmas Eve. My brother and I also used to 'camp out' and wait for Santa when we were really young. We'd build a fort out of couch cushions and blankets and stay up as long as we could hoping to catch a glimpse of the guy. And, finally, my dad worked 3rd shift and when he'd come home (around 8 in the morning), he'd stomp across the roof yelling 'ho, ho, ho', which was the sign that we could get out of bed.

    3. We could get snow (my fingers are crossed), or it could rain, or it could be 50. We'll see.

    4. Yes. I don't remember officially stopping.

    5. It's bad.

    6. Frosted cutouts.

    7. 'It's a Wonderful Life.'

    8. When I was in the 3rd grade I snuck to the living room and opened a present under the tree. It was the pink radio I'd been hoping for! Evidently, I didn't rewrap it was well as I thought and my mom was so sad that I peeked. I felt like I ruined her Christmas and therefore have never been tempted to peek again!

  14. Oh, so late!

    1. White Christmas
    2. Finding the Christmas pickle on the tree and getting a special gift.
    3. Yeppers, fingers crossed we will get snow this year!
    4. Of course, don't really know when I stopped though...just kind of realized it was impossible. Though we also still get gifts marked with "Santa" which I LOVE!
    5. Not a fan of Christmas sweaters for me at all, but if it puts you in the holiday spirit then go ahead. My MIL wears that stuff, it fits her personality.
    6. Snickerdoodles - yum
    7. A Charlie Brown Christmas, Elf, A Christmas Story
    8. I love Christmas SO much! Please remember patience, love and giving to others during the holiday season.

  15. 1. What is your famous Christmas carol? Definitely O Holy Night.

    2. What is your favorite Christmas tradition? Coming home after Christmas Eve service at church, putting the kids to bed and playing Christmas music while we put the presents under the tree.

    3. Do you live where there will be snow on Christmas Day? I hope so. I love how festive it looks!!

    4. Did you believe in Santa? Until when?
Yes, I don't remember how old I was when I stopped believing. It wasn't a horrible realization. I still think Christmas is magical, even without a "real" Santa Claus.

    5. How do you feel about Christmas apparel, as a rule? I do not wear Christmas sweaters or vests, my mom does - in fact she just wore one to my dad's work Christmas party. Very my mom, very much not me, but I appreciate the festive gesture of wearing one. :)

    6. Your favorite Christmas cookie?
These buttermilk fruit cookies my mom makes. I could eat them ALLLLLL day (and usually do).

    7. What is your favorite Christmas-related movie? Miracle on 34th Street (the new version)

    8. Anything else Christmas-related you'd like to share? My favorite Christmas album (yes, I said album) is Alabama Christmas. My favorite song from that album is "Thistlehair the Christmas Bear." I used to have a white teddy bear that had a Christmas scarf and hat and I always pretended that he was Thistlehair. I walked into mom and dad's last week when we were going to make Christmas cookies and mom had the Alabama Christmas album playing. Ahhh.... welcome home.
