Author: Kristy Kiernan

Why I bought the book: I liked the cover.

What other people rated the book on Amazon: 4.5 stars.

What I would rate the book: 2.5 stars.

Why: In all honesty, I felt it moved slowly and it was uber-predictable. It's a story about 2 sisters. One was diagnosed a mathematical genius at an early age and was propelled into a alternate universe of academia as forced by her Dad therefore erecting a GIGANTIC wedge between the two sisters. The other beautiful and average sister held a grudge against her sis and Dad for years and years because she felt she was ignored. The story also includes infidelity, terminal illness, angst-filled teenagers, and unrequited love.

Blah, blah, blah.

It's my opinion that the past is the past, you know?
You can only blame your parents for the circumstances of your childhood for so long.
The protagonist was bitter. She was 42. MOVE ON.

Available on amazon.com for as low as $3.78.
