I'm not the only one!

I was so pleased to stumble across this article about how Truman Capote really didn't like Katherine Hepburn as Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany's.

I rented the movie off of iTunes earlier this year after having grown up hearing about how amazing it was.

I wasn't feeling it; specifically the character played by Ms. Hepburn. She was flightly, ridiculous and blah. Didn't you think? She was just far too bird-like and skittish for me. A wuss.

However, the clothes? Pretty great.

  3. I am with you, I did not enjoy this movie, only ever saw it once. Her character just annoyed me. The clothes were pretty darn great though...I always loved her big sunglasses, all her dresses were fantastic and I think she had this fantastic coat I loved. I think that is all that got me through the movie b/c as for the story line and her character I was never impressed.

  4. This movie is such a classic, but I agree with you about her character being kind of a ditz.

  5. Glad to see that I'm not alone! Seriously, she was just a flake in the movie.
